I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was evident throughout my stay. I loved the hotel's location, just a short walk from the station, and the convenient access to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the basic amenities provided were exactly what I needed. The room I stayed in had three single beds, which was perfect for me and the view from the room was simply breathtaking.
All was great, no improvements needed.

Great location in walking distance to landmarks and shopping. Rooms are spacious with an ice machine on the fourth floor. Enjoyed quiet indoor and rooftop onsens serving from 3 PM to 10 AM. Friendly staff and decent breakfast with Japanese and Western options.
Liked everything.

The hotel is about 15 min walk from Beppu station. Walk down the main street towards the beach and at the end you will find a underground passage, go through the passage and take the right exit. Irritatingly enough, the hotel wasn't shown on the train station map. From most of the rooms you can see this building called Mytown. It's a shopping centre with a supermarket in it so you can get stuff like drinks and fruits if you want to save on costs. It's also walking distance to the Beppu tower (cheap entrance at ¥200, but really small, the counter lady probably doesn't see much visitors) and to the sand bath onsen. There is also a rooftop bath that overlooks the bay.
The hotel wasn't listed on the Beppu jr station map. Breakfast isn't much but if you are lazy it will suffice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. its location couldn't be better - just a short walk from the train station and close to the sea shore. Secondly, the room was large and clean, with comfortable beds. Finally, the onsen facilities were fantastic, with an indoor onsen on the 10th floor and a rooftop outdoor onsen on the 11th floor, both overlooking the bay. The open-air shower area at the outdoor onsen was a unique touch.
All was great.
